DESCRIPTION:Join us for Sunday Baroque at Penny Jo’s\, featuring Pandora Consort and Silentwoods Collective. Enjoy live baroque music on period instruments in a relaxed\, welcoming setting \nThis upcoming Sunday Baroque Performance is a double header! Beginning at 5:00 PM is Silentwoods Collective’s program “South of Rome” sharing virtuosic works for cello composed by innovators of the violoncello from Southern Italy – Francesco Supriano\, Rocco Greco\, Gaetano Francone\, Giulio de Ruvo\, and Alessandro Scarlatti. After a short break\, Boston-Based vocal ensemble ‘The Pandora Consort’ will perform selections from their recently premiered folk opera\, “The Fire within Her”\, as well as enthralling medieval works by polymath Hildegard von Bingen.\nThere is no cover charge for entry\, but we encourage you to please reserve a spot.
